Yes, I know
Home track where I race is small and probably best suited for 12th scale racing only but I got no other choice.
All other tracks are typical basket ball court sized tracks.

Thanks for the input John!

Since you're limited to 4.0 and above, I would go with a higher RPM setup so that the ideal FDR is more likely to be in the legal range.

Any word on a 13.5 Killshot?

Trinity's summer catalog that was published back in April has the following listed:

Yes 13.5 is coming. Ive been told its at ROAR now for the approval process but it takes 30-45 days at the moment with everyone trying to get stuff approved.

They were hoping to have it legal very soon though.

Thanks EA.

So it's anyone's guess at this point whether or not it will be legal for IIC?

Pretty much. It has until Sept 6th to make the official IIC list that Kraig posted. After that it will not be allowed if it passes tech. They want all the motors to be available at least 30 days prior to the event to the public.

I have never been disappointed by the motors I have purchased from Express Motorsports. They do a great job making sure you get a good motor.

Post trouble fitting 17.5 into mi5

Having trouble fitting 17.5 killshot into my mi5. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Do you need to use 64p?
Cheers.

I have contracted trinity a few times about the timing ring and issues with the endbell. Each time they took down my information and said they would send out, never got anything. So I just have up and put another motor in my car.

Send Jim Deter an email and he will respond pretty fast. I bought both the killshots and neither fit in my T4. I sent him an email and he responded the following day and I had 2 new end bells 2 days later.
