I like the idea and it seems to be the trend so far lets see how it performs on the higher grip US tracks.
You must not have raced sedan with foam tires with the ultra light weight bodies. There are rules to prevent this from happening again. I believe that ROAR has a min. thickness rule maybe IFMAR too.

I just weighed mine at 1394 grams. East Coast lightweight Euro-R body (they are still a bit heavy), KO 411FH RX, Savox 1252 servo, Reventon R with Fan, Speed Passion V3.0 17.5 fixed endbell, SMC 5600mah 70c battery and Mylaps transponder. I believe it was 1381 with a protoform body last night.

Now that I've had time to eat and rest....results from today.
The Mi5 managed to match the speed of the S411 and was much easier to drive. Our track is low grip carpet as stated above and we have been trying everything to get more traction. The fastest lap on this layout is a 12.5 and I was able to get both cars down to 12.6.
The car is mostly built to the kit setup right now with the following exceptions:
All shims removed from below arm pivots for lowest roll center possible.
Yokomo pink springs on the front (slightly softer than the kit)
Serpent White springs on the rear (slightly softer than the Yokomo Pink)
Camber 1.0 degrees on all corners (leaning the tires in creates a lot of build up)
Paragon Ground Effects soaked long enough to dry out
5.5mm ground clearance front and back
5mm droop on all corners
diff fluid and oil from the kit
Geared at 43t pinion/96t spur
As I stated, the car is very easy to drive with fairly aggressive steering but still really balanced. The rear is just as locked in as the front. I need to find a few more tenths but to do it you have to run close to the boards in a few spots and they are very unforgiving.

Got my kit today. Assembling it now. I reach up to step 9. It's talking about adding Thread Lock H1056. Did you guys get this with your kits?? I don't see that anywhere in my box. On the front it never stated that we need to supply our own. Did they just forget to include mine??

Now my build has come to a total stop. I search and read thru this thread and not one mention of picking up my own thread lock. I would have surely gotten some today before the stores closed.....

Has anyone else found arms rub the gearbox housings ever so slightly? My arms look like the amendment sheet.
