Schumacher painted across the top? Really unique look, superb!

Thanks to Howdy_beecha for this very good fix!
What has been the problem with the caster bolts?

Nice body. What class do you run?

The local track runs 17.5 non-boost only. I am still trying to figure out what I will run at IIC, 17.5 and 13.5 or 13.5 and mod.

The stock kingpins are only holding on by about 2-1/2 threads once you get past the chamfer.

Is there any other options for the outter hing pins? Not to thrilled about using e-clips to secure the pins.

You can drill a hole and use a 3mm grub screw.

It still took a massive hit for me to finally pull out the stock kingpin bolt.

Thanks, nice pics. Will give this a go, have pulled a couple out with very light contact. Running on a small tight indoor asphalt track, just trying to free the rear a bit to let it rotate better.

Just started assemble my Mi5 kit, and I have a quick question.

Shall the wishbones fall down easily when screw to tha chassie ? It seems like 2 of the wishbones, are more free than the other two, and I have only lightly tighten the M3 screw with the spanner.

It shouldn't matter how tight the m3 screws are done up the wishbones should pivot freely on the balls so the fall freely under their own weight.

If they don't then give em a wiggle a few times up and down to try to loosen them up - a tiny drop of bearing oil can help too

Got to have another run yesterday. Just a bit of practice with the Mi5. After 6 years out of touring cars its a pretty damned easy car to drive. Im running 13.5 so all new to me. I felt like it was very fast and very easy to drive. I have bought parts needed to switch to Hofer setup and look forward to that.
