Hello all. Some of you may remember me from about 8 years ago. I drove for Schumacher all the way in Melbourne Australia. Well I just bought an Mi5 as the bug never left. Planning to perhaps race some 13.5. With kids its a little tougher to find time these days. This looks like a beautiful kit once again. I look forward to interacting with the community here again. Chris

Hi Chris,

Where did you buy the kit from? If you bought it in Oz, that is. Anyone here stocking parts?

Would you be able to measure the gear diff between the bearing shoulders for me please (if you have a caliper)?

Welcome back Chris!

Niznai, in Aus Mi5 and parts are definitely available at Action R/C (Bris), Metro (Melb).

I'm assuming other Schumacher dealers - Frontline (newcastle), Monaro (Canberra) and Stanbridges (WA) will have stock but I don't know for sure.

Best I can eyeball the diff (in the car) it's 16mm between the inner bearing faces.

Thank you very much, mate.

Stanbridges (which is closest to me) is hopeless. I would probably get stuff quicker if I ordered over east or overseas. I'll have a look, thanks again.

That's where I get my stuff from, didn't have any problems at all.

Adrian, welcome back, this car was by far the easiest car I have ever assembled.

I had the chance to drive the Mi5 of my friend today. The car had an incredible planted rear and was calm in every weight shift situation, just awesome to drive with the box setup.
What was impressing is the great flex of this chassis. In Germany we call soft chassis like that a "wet towel" xD I would never had thought that this much flex would work so well...

I couldn't believe that another company would make a chassis with more flex than a T4. The T4 is super flexible only to see the MI5 have just as more if not a little more
