Got it the Mi5 up and running yesterday. Car makes a ton of grip. Steering response is insane. Braking is uber consistent. Diff and shocks are dialed. Very pleased

The team were testing a different brace at the cotswolds, the original was not quite right,
do we get the taller thicker one with more holes in the kit or the original one?

The kit top decks are the ones we used at Cotswolds national - with a hole near the motor mount (originally the only hole) and the "extra" hole near the front of the car. There is only 1 of the posts however, so if you want to use the front stiffener you need to buy another brace.

Default Front Shafts

Are the kit units built well or is there a need to go with a double joint setup? Are guys seeing a lot of chatter with the stock units? Thanks.

They look like they are the same units as on the Mi4. I've never really noticed any chatter problems running the Mi4 chassis so I suspect they're fine.

Or Lack of chatter video ---^
Got mine all built ready for electrics and setup. All went very smooth, hardest part out of the whole build was anti role bars.
