this from Martin Hofer is a good starting point, expecially for Ride tires:

for stock Yokomo black springs in front in central hole on tower, and alluminium chassis if you have it

Default my version of active rear toe system

This is my version of active rear toe. beside normal Schumacher front end parts, I fix the Xray X12 alu pole at the crash blocker position. using front end part in teh rear will push the buttom of shock upward which compress the stock spring a lot. before I can make ask friend to make custom shock tower, I use Xray T4 spring which is lot shorter. not only the spring will not be compress at idle, it also allow more room to adjust ride height.

Personally I wish I can fit in puff up battery like mi5 did. Also ATS will be nice options. Maybe a solid axial with replaceable steel cup with slider. Schumacher own true cvd.

Like to see shocks that don't weep and a lighter car

I know I moaned about the evo at first but it's a fast car in the dry keeping up with all the other brands and unstoppable in the damp/wet, sliders had less of them fail or go knochy the had blades fail, the double jointed drive shaft would be nice if were Schumachers own but but spec r fail just as much as the others I find, wouldn't mind if they copied the other cars abit ( only a tiny bit ) but I just want to see a few changes not a complete new car it's is Schumachers best car by far

I like the slider inserts as my previous car went thru blades like every run and that was in stock 21.5 motor form and seems to be an issue due to the solid front diffs these days.

Strange as my shocks dont leak at all and think i had to add 5 or 10 grms to bring up to weight so very happy with that.
also touch wood my double cardins have been fine so far and look stronger than some i have had and seen.

Some sort of Lipo Tray/Lipo strap holder like the Mi1 V2 and the Mi4 CXL, as running a Evo in the Wet with battery tape is a pain in the backside to keep changing every run.

I have looked at maybe using the Mi3.5's lipos posts, or maybe something like the pic attached?

Whats people's opinions? Or what have people done differently than using tape in your wet cars

a velcro strap set up maybe better in the wet.
the only issue and reason a lot of manufacturers have gone away from rigid set up you show is it can stiffen up the car to much around the battery area so reason for tape or velcro strap.

Regarding some of the other suggestions, personally, I don't mind the sliders on the diffs, but I would prefer to have a three piece spool with steel direct cups, and no sliders. Certainly in mod, with bumpy tracks, replacing the sliders regularly in the front is a need.

Shocks and diff, honestly not huge concerns. Shocks, you do need to replace the lower o-rings, the kit ones just don't seal properly. As for the diff, a bit of work on the shimming, and running an extra big case o-ring makes for an improved diff. Biggest improvement that can be made there would be some softer outdrive o-rings, that seal better. The blacks are just too hard.

To the person who mentioned about being a BD7 copy with vertical decks... you'll be suprised how close the geometry is already
