Does anyone have a good high bite carpet set up for this car??? Anyone even own one of these anymore. They are all for sale!!!

The setup that's on the car you just got from JW, is pretty good on high bite, but try X-ray 2.4 front and 2.2 rear springs. The stock springs are a little off. The only other thing would be to adjust upper roll center setting so the car doesn't roll as much in the corners. Other than that it looked pretty good on the track.

Harper was very impressive at the Euro's with this car. It looked very fast and handled well. It's too bad they don't have a bigger team to help support him like Yokomo/Tamiya/Xray.
The car has speed.

Has anyone had issues after building the rear gear diff with it being to tight with no oil? I was helping a local racer yesterday and his rear diff feels like it has 10k in it with no oil. After investigating it looks like the o-rings are to tight on the out-drives.
Are you doing some type of modification to the out-drive shaft or are the o-rings he received to small?

Its been a while since I built the diffs I had, but I think those are the wrong orings, mine where purple. The only option orings that Durango lists are either blue, or clear/white, so I dont think the pink oring is for that car.

Sorry Brent, I got nothing then. Unless they mixed up a shock oring with a diff oring, but that would be very apparent, if not impossible (or could it?).

Oring
New diff oring correction
Yes i noticed this wright away. I am using koyosho orange orings out of there 1/10 off road gear diff. I then have to use wd- 40 inside the diff so it feels just like my buddies ae diff with 40 wt that has much smaller orings. I am finding out that in 17.5 touring the car is just way to stiff out of the box. I dont use bladders and run 3 hole pistons with 35 to sofften it up alot. Car has alot of potentional but seems off out of the box. Also car needs more droop.setting the droop per instructions makes the car weird . I am setting it like you would on a set up board and it is abig difference also go 5mm front and rear ride height . 5.5 on the rear makes the car drive funny. We need more people to run this car and develop it. Durango needs to get more drivers on their team for local and national support that is there biggest problom period. They dont have enough in the field product development
