Hard to have part shortages when I don't need anything. The shop that had durango parts didn't have much for the DETC but he said he can order whatever it's needed (EU).

Struggling with balance. The car doesnt seem to be generating enough grip all round. I've been focussing on chassis flex options and tried soft/hard springs and damping just cant seem to get a nice balance its either got no front end grip and wont rotate or the rear is to loose on corner entry. Im running modified. Right now the front end is lacking high speed bite and off power the rear is loose so im scrubbing to much speed on corner entry, mid and exit. Dont yave the alloy chassis just standard carbon maybe this is the issue? Do any of you guys have a solid carpet setup i could try as im running out of ideas. I dont know anyone else who runs the durango so cant share ideas etc

A couple of things I have found that work on carpet is to start with the softer springs (2 dot) all around with 35w oil, lay down the front shocks 1 hole lower than the rear (2nd hole up at the front and 3rd on the rear for example) and use 0.5mm wheel spacers at the front. 1deg camber up front and 2 degrees at the rear. Use droop to tweak weight transfer and see how it goes. The soft setup will help with overall grip and the other settings will calm the car down. Clamping down on the droop, little by little will flatten the car out to get a little quicker in the transitions. Are you using a spec tire? if not, what are you using? Sauce type and technique?

As mentioned... posting your complete setup will be helpful to asses your situation.

In the mean time the shake down run was a bit disappointing. The steering radius is big but everything is OK
Manual asphalt low traction setup... Think I'm going to dial some aggressiveness by raising the front lower holders 1mm and more droop all round.

Thanks. I will upload full setup at the weekend when i have some spare time. I will try what you suggested next time out and see if it helps. Im using spec tyres which are sweep SQE-28EWS with sweep handout additive. Everyone has been doing same thing with additive so i think the issue is purely setup..

For that price I couldnt resist (my 3rd). Two will be set up for indoor carpet (USGT and 17.5) and the new one will be set up for outdoor asphalt. I have plenty of spare parts too and even if I run out, Tamiya parts fit in some cases.
