Medium to high bite carpet, everyone locally has found that Yokomo Pink, and Blue Springs are the best option. The car is very forgiving, while still carrying excellent cornerspeed with these springs coupled, with the manual high bite set-up, tuned slightly to personal tastes. Excellent turn-in, great rotation, while maintaining a stable feel.

Blue front, pink rear if I remember correctly. I'll double check tomorrow. I had been running two dot rears, and three dot fronts. After switching, I was more comfortable, and WAY more consistent. Fast lap didn't improve, but 10 lap average picked up .2 total. Smoother, and easier to drive, with no "snap" oversteer on exit.

Thinking about getting into on-road and was looking at this car and the AE 6.2 FT. What would you say are some pro's and con's to this car? I own several durango offroad vehicles currently.

The only con I have is the amount of slop in the ball cups. I've since switched both my cars over to Tamiya balls & cups. Otherwise very nice!

Default Durango

I have ran all the associated touring cars, the 6.2 is the best if you go with associated. I had 3 6.2s until about 3 months ago. Then I converted to Durango detc410s. I feel the associated had more slop in it and it's baseline setup wasn't as good. It takes more tweaking on the 6.2 to get it dialed in bit once you figure it out the cars are similar. The Durango out of the box has a front spool with plastic out drives, this is the first thing that has to go. You will break the out drives, replace the front spool and install a gear diff with steel out drives and problem is solved. You will do the same with the associated 6.2 as it comes with a composite spool in the front. I currently have 5 Durango's, 2 vta, a 21.5 spec gt car, and 2 17.5 blinky cars. All have the front diff changed to a gear diff. 1 car has tamiya arms, caster blocks and bearing carriers as they are a little harder. When comparing 6.2 to detc410, I feel the Durango has less slop and baseline setups will make you faster out of the box as they offer 4 different setups depending in your track. Durango cars are cheaper used and parts are cheaper. That's why I chose them. My first night with my Durango, I matched my fastest laps with my 6.2 I had for several months. All that being said, I now have too many. Lol so if you are looking I will make you a good deal on a roller. I have 2 listed. Just really need 1 to go, thought I would list both, sell 1 and run the other. Both are great cars, but I think the Durango is better out of the box on the track.

Default Here are my cars

Really just want 1 gone. Have too many

Hey guys, selling 2 durango detc410 touring cars.

Car #1 Durango detc410 I have the gravity aluminum screws on the top, It has the gear diff up front, and has the spool as well. I put all the tamiya 418 parts on the car now. The plastic is harder and seems to give it more steering. So the Tamiya parts are the arms, hub carriers, steering knuckles and outer hinge pins. All the stock arms hubs and carriers will come with so you can switch back if wanted. Car has about 5-6 weeks on it. Electronics are 1 race old. Team powers actinium 17.5, hobbywing 120 amp water proof v3.1, futaba s9551 low profile servo with aluminum arm and outside aluminum mount, and wild turbo fan.
Roller $320
With electronics $580

Car #2 Durango detc410. Comes with front gear diff installed and stock spool. Also comes with 2 race old trakpower ms1 esc, 2 race old spektrum 6070 servo with aluminum arm, and a hacker skalar 17.5.
Roller $280
With electronics $500

Both cars are in great shape and super fast.

Thanks! I didn't see you at the track yesterday. They changed up the road course and it's rather complicated, but should help me learn to drive better

No problem. Probably won't be out for a few weeks. Did you run the durango? If so, how did it feel?

No, it will be at least a couple more weeks before I run the Durango. I have some electronics coming and still need to get a body and paint it.
