Also after the fail with the exotek battery strap I found a cheap velcro strap from Align that fits perfect, 3.99 for 2 straps

Edit : Read through a bunch of post and found my answer. Taking out the lay shaft shim helped free up car some. I'm using the serpent gear which I guess is a bit thicker.
Sorry, forgot to mention to you to leave all shims off when using the serpent spurs... I also made the e-clip thinner by swirling it around on some sand paper...

I agree durango could of made the spur gear area a little more accessible for wider spur gears, to allow a wider range of spur manufactures to be used. Not everybody has easy access to the specified spec-r or panaracer spurs. Plus not everybody uses 64p, and neither of those two manufacturers have a wide selection of 48p

How is the car in terms of steering and suspension slop? with you changing to Tamiya ball cups, I'm assuming that there's a lot of slop in the original ones?

I just finished building my car, out of the box, there is a tiny bit of slop, but i tried Tamiya grey low friction ball cups (from my F104v2), and there is the same amount of slop.

So far, i like how the kit went together, i came from a Yokomo BD7 2014, i can only compare it to that kit. I like how it's built, i would have prefered separate suspension blocks for FR and RF. The quality of the plastic is good, but i had to be extremely careful not to strip anything.

My biggest complaint are the screws... they are not all 2mm hex heads, and i'm only talking about the ones that go up from under the chassis.

Can anyone tell me what the new part for step H1 is? I have five parts: 320191, and i can't tell them appart, i had to mark the new part that installs in FR. It looks the same, and measures all the same...

Local hobby shop first if they are a Team Durango dealer. If not, Tower Hobbies.

Just finished assembly on mine, and yall got me scare to run it. lol But seriously Id hate to be left out in the breeze if something broke. Are you guys looking for spares. Or out of a racecar due to lack of arms? Any other brand close enough to work?
