I have pictures, but I can't make them public yet. We have an image EMBARGO for now.
190mm. The front end is wider than the previous 101. That I know for sure, but how much wider I do not know.
The rear uses the same parts as the first 101, so for now I'm presuming the front is wider compared to the rear for stability. More will be known shortly.

Anyone else have difficulty with the carbon axle and diff? It seems they are permanently glued together. I took a hit and it loosened it and then the tire always wobbled. I could not fix it, even with re-gluing. So I went for a totally new metal axle and diff.
I still have the original axle and diff. Any way to fix it?

It has probably fractured inside, causing the wobble.

I actually bent mines after a pretty bad cartwheel just two weeks ago. The only part I've broken on my TRF in about a dozen races. Too bad instead of replacing a shaft, I had to buy the whole assembly. ~$35

Quick question what effect does moving the side links in or out on the chassis have on the car.

Hey guys, very few that run this car @ my club and we are looking for pointers.

first thing, have you ever found that you needed to balance shimizu rubber once glued? I am getting a wicked wobble at 3/4 throttle. I think this might be causing my abrupt on power changes of direction. Everything is fine coming out of the corner, then snap hard 90 deg into the wall, no warning, either direction. No tweak, which is what I thought at first. Car is straight, no issues, but now I notice the imbalance on the bench at 3/4 throttle.

Also, silver front springs, car is good, but gold if I nick a barrier, susp balls pop out. Is there an easy fix for this? Silver 4.5mm ht, gold 5.5mm ht. Is it that the shaft travels further up allowing the ball to be pried free?

Anyone had these issues and how did you resolve them?

I had that issue with mine using the thin insert in the tire. Fixed it by gluing the ends of the insert together and then use two sided tape to attach to the inside of the tire. Stopped the wobble in mine. Unfortunately the issue with the kingpin seems to be a common problem with this car and have not found a fix for that yet.

I balanced them and it's a lot better. I also moved my wires to give more pod movement. The wires were just barely touching the body. So now that the tires aren't wobbling, I'm hoping that the car will be more consistent.

Nobody has figured out the susp. balls? There must be a way to stop this from happening. Maybe if I've fixed the handling problems, I won't hit the wall and it won't be a problem having them pop out.

Anybody else have any tips?

Colour Cad pic here of the TRF101W, not more detail than the original pic other than its colour so you can spot which bits are aluminium etc
