Arrow The best 13.5 in blinky?

Im on the hunt for a decent 13.5 to run in blinky.

Im currently running an x12 & its dog slow compared to others. The Thunder Powers seem to go quite well, although I haven't seen any Tekin Gen2 going or revtechs.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Default on the list

Wont go far wrong with the new reedy sonic, 42.5 degrees of static timing and 84mm rollout.

Reedy and Revtech are good bets on that list.

In addition to the Reedy and the RevTech the Thunder Power Z3R is great in 13.5.

Why is the Trinity D3.5 not on that list? Its been out for a while. It a good motor too. Not really any faster than the other three but another good option.

Any reason why the 13.5 D3.5(which does not use the "questionable" 20awg wire) is not on the BRCA list? Just curious...

Based on that list, however, I would be running the Revtech with a strong 12.5 rotor. Or the new Reedy.

Yes that Catchpole guy was using one of those dynamites the other day, looked quick. Orca tx is a nice looking motor..

All motors have to be submitted by either the manufacturer or distributor (part of getting approval is that they must be available in shops in the UK, hence two dates for the Thunder Power, the rotors weren't available until a while after the motors were around) they are subjected to the usual inspections before being passed for approval.

Motors missing from the list have either failed to comply with the rules (Corally Pro Red series etc) or possibly haven't been submitted for approval.

I have no idea whether the Trinity motor was submitted or not.

The BRCA regulations are these;
http://www.brca.org/index.php?q=cont...gulations/1398

Motors are covered between sections 4 & 6

Noavk ballistic 13.5t with ceramic Bearings and new 12.5mm rotor... Most novak 13.5t motors come with the red wire stators too, and it's fast... Hopefully BRCA has the 12.5mm rotor limit rule like ROAR....
