I've been doing research on the Murfdogg Synergy V1.1 motors because I have I'm in the market for a new 17.5 blinky motor for TC.

I remember in the past that a lot of people had really liked the Murfdogg motors and the customer service Matt gives. Recently though I haven't been hearing anyone recommending these motors... does anybody run these in 17.5 blinky tc? I like the idea of supporting a small motor company..but its hard to assess the performance of these motors (with out laying down $90) or the satisfaction of murfdogg customers since almost all discussion/hype has died down on these.

I know they used to have sensor board issues.. but, whats the general consensus with these motors now days.. good? bad? ok?

I just traded for one of these. I should have it in a week or so. I plan on doing serious testing on it against several motors, including d3.5, revtech, and Turnigy trackstar 17.5.

They look cool at least!

If your track allows the D3.5 Matt is also comming out with a 17.5 outlaw motor. It's his spec motor but has bigger non spec wire like the D3.5. I plan on picking one up when they are released. Should be the next couple weeks.

Any other input about these motors?? Someone has to be running them..or used to run them?
