I need spur gear 18 ball, but can not find,

What spur gear model is good for the sp1?

Xenon makes spur gears with 16 diff balls as does CRC but the CRC ones use a smaller diff ball so you need to space the axle to compensate if it even fits. I haven't tried the CRC one with the SP-1 yet to see if it will even work. To my knowledge no one makes a diff gear with 18 diff balls. Kimbro is probably the most common and works very well with 12 diff balls.

From memory rcmart or rcmarket have some.
pretty sure they a kawada super spur. or kawada ?? i got a couple but have tossed the packets.

the diff ring have one diameter for 18 balls. fewer balls is smaller diameter.

Any amount will work...the more diff balls you have the less pressure it takes with the diff nut to keep the diff from slipping. With less pressure you get a smoother diff. So the more diff balls you can use the smoother you can build a diff.
