Replaced mine with the carbon option axle, Qteq clamp hub and a spacer. The new Tamiya TRF axle looks to have the correct back spacing.

Gotta agree with the above - the carbon axle is a lot more durable than the standard steel one. I also went down to the local machine shop and custom made a hardened steel axle. Good, but a tad heavy. Stick with the carbon one

Out of curiosity does anyone know if XRAY X1 F1 parts are compatible on the SP-1?

Anyone tried some of the parts from the Street Jam SJF01?
It uses the front suspension from the SP1. There is a castor block available with 3, 5, 7 and 9 degree options and aluminium slotted capture inserts for the steering block.

Also their rear axle is different for the same motor pod.

The front suspension mounting plate is slightly different; as you know there is a wide and narrow option mounting hole for the Sp-1 while the Street Jam has only one setting. They don't line up exactly so the castor blocks aren't interchangeable. The aluminum slotted capture inserts install easier than the plastic ones but they aren't slotted so you cannot use a screwdriver to install them. Otherwise, you are right and the suspension parts are identical. I think my Street Jam came with the reinforced plastic parts whereas my Sp-1 came with the regular plastic.

The street jam has a 180 and a 200mm setting just like the sp1.

SP-1's width settings are 185mm, 190mm, and 200mm.

Correct the Street Jam does have adjustable front width settings. What I meant was that the front suspension mounting plate on the Street Jam car only has one set of mounting holes while the Speed Passion car has two. And the holes do not line up.

The TRF axle carbon fits, backspacing to the hub side to center with a Shimizu tire on is just @ 95mm. I cut a custom 7mm spacer from my 6mm ID alloy tube stock and the Tamiya clamp hub with a shim or 2 will is right @ 95mm. I think the Qteq hub will be better with more clamping force, so I need to trade hubs with one of the other cars that has one. 190mm, Done!

Do Tamiya F1 front and rear wings fit without any mods to the chassis? or wing?
