Me too...however, we are going to release 3 different platform for the LM-1....first the entry level kit, then the RTR version and last the pro level version. So we have to go thru 3 different type of material and build/option at once. Also.....6 different LeMan bodies.

Am I correct in assuming that the three different platforms for the LM-1 will be released at different times (ie one per month for three months, etc)?

Quick question... where are you guys buying SP-1 spare parts in the U.S.? Directly from SpeedPassion or are there other online retailers?

Speedpassion directly, F1 paint labs, or Speedwerkes!

Pit Shimizu 574 fronts and 572 rears. The car still has a bit of push to it but with the right lines through the corners it is minimized. But even if I could find more front grip I think the back would start breaking loose.

Ok, I'm really confused about spur options for the SP1. The car comes with a 48p spur and 18 diff balls, correct? So, if I wanted to switch to a 64p spur, what are my choices? Searching through the thread, people mention going to 64p but with what brand spur? Do the kit diff balls work with those spurs? And what FDR are you guys shooting for?

The car uses standard sized diff gears so there are a lot of options out there. My personal choice is the Xenon gears since they use 16 diff balls which is pretty close to the stock 18 diff balls. The new CRC gears will not work though as they use a smaller diff ball. The standard sized diff ball is 1/8".

Oh, I see. I've never had a car that used the spur gear as a ball diff, so this is all new to me. I usually run Kimbrough spur gears, but looking at them, I'm not sure they'll work. Example: http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ...w.asp?p_id=336

Would that work?

If not, I guess I'll have to try to look around, maybe find Xenon gears or something similar.

Kimbro spur gears will work fine. They have been probably the most widely used pan car gear for a long time. The price is nice and they work well. The downsides are they aren't perfectly round usually and they use 12 diff balls. But even like that they can make for very smooth diffs if done right and enough care is taken when meshing the teeth.
