I agree. Most stock racers just enjoy stock over mod. Last I checked, each racer pays their own entry fee. And stock is a hole different animal vs. Mod. I said this before, "The best mod guys will have a hard time beating the best stock racers". I never agreed with that rule. You win stock. You have to race mod. Where ever you end up after qualifying is exactly where you were supposed to be. I wish mod guys could race stock also at nationals. That would make it exciting.

As an 'outsider' of ROAR based rules (I live in the UK at race to BRCA rulings), I cannot understand why you guys would have a rule that means a stock champion can't defend his championship (for 5 years??!). That seems totally rediculous! Here in the UK, part of the fun of going to the nationals is seeing where you are compared to the 'superstars' of the sport and a rule like that would go down like a lead ballon! In fact, I would go as far as to say that even if somone proposed a rule like that at the AGM, it would get laughed straight out of the hall (or the pub, as it might be!).

Tim, thanks for putting on a great event, and huge thanks for your help through out the weekend! Also want to thank Steve McNicols for the chassis setup help, instrumental in getting the car where I wanted it to be. Billy Dzama and Robert Cooper for hooking me up with a motor in my time of need! Jim Dieter, thank you for taking care of my motor issue, much appreciated.

Sorry for the diversion, but is that accurate, or a new rule? Believe others have raced Roar nats before. Atsushi Hara for example?

Hara and the R40 successfully defend their US National Championship!

Which I'm fine with, no discredit to Mr. Hara intended. I'm only curious.

All I can say is WOW.....weather the first 2 days was terrible but from Friday on it was great. Would like to say thanks to Tim Potter and all the Village Raceway crew for doing a great job and hosting an outstanding event. The racing was great. Would also like to say thanks to Robert, Dave, Billy and TJ for the great pit spot and keeping it funny all weekend.

Thanks,
Steve P.

Big thanks go Tim P, his race crew and the RMT team for holding the event. I had fun this weekend and learned a lot. The action on the track was fantasic and much more welcomed than the drama around the event or the racer on racer arguing. Congrats to the winners. Hope to see everyone out racing soon..

Any official results yet. I see some on LiveRC but it's saying 2 rounds of 3 only on the sheet for the A-Mains...
