Default Wing

I use the wing on a mazda 6 body on large open and and small tight tracks and the wing is awesome. Gives extra rear traction and makes the body stable. I do not know how the wing was shattered because I rolled my car and slid on the wing and it never moved or cracked. I suggest these wings over any lexan wing anyday. Just my .02

I'd stick with the lexan ones that come with the bodies...at least with them, you can put washers and/or shoe-goo to reattach the wing if/when it gets torn off

All things made of plastic should break in a nasty crash. Lexan would have been no more if you had one in the crash you are talking about.

Shattered was actually an understatement

It broke into many, many, little pieces...It did, however, look really cool on my car

fire929 - I've had lexan ones survive far worse crashes I'm leaning towards a freak incidient, but it still turned my off to them

Default Molded PROTOform Wing

k_bojar;
If you still have the pieces of that broken wing, we would really like to see them to try and figure out why it shattered. If you send it to Proline - attn: Mark Pavidis, we will send you out a replacement at n/c. We have not recieved any complaints regarding this new generation of PROTOform inj/molded wings. Sorry for the inconveniece.

ive got a white protoform wing and the plastic is very flexible you can twist the wing right round in your hands and it seems to springh back to shape i cant see mine shattering as the plastic used seems to be to plyable and quite soft. its not brittle at all!!
cheers gaz

I like my wing. I have rolled my car and smacked boards and all and it has held up fine. I have 4 race days on it on an outdoor paved track and it has some scratches and scuffs but it will definitely outlast the body. I can't tell if it has more down force or not? Maybe just a tad less??

Maybe it's just me but I ordered some-O-these grey wings, a while back, an' they don't fit but two of the 30 bodies I have. So I cain't judge them 'cept for they be worfless!

Default 190mm black

I just got the 190mm black touring wing. It has a notch out of one side. Is that supposed to be there? I looks like it is in the mold.
