The Protek battery looks like re-labeled IP battery. I use the IP 3800 Mah battery in my M05 and it works well, having bullet connecters lets me offset the battery position to help balance the side to side weight.
It also eliminates that nasty side bulge in the body.

Honestly we ran with bullet plugs on our m03 and m05 for years. I always wanted my minis as clean and neat as possible, but in the end changed to Deans connectores and have never looked back. Even with tight connections, i still lost a couple races because of banging doors and having a connector come out. I even taped my batteries in and taped over the wires to hold them in...still even losing one race, because of something silly like that for me wasnt worth it.
