Default been out a LONG time!

Hi all

I've been out of rc racing a long time, but never got rid of my stuff... now I think my 9 yr old has been reinfected by the rc bug...lol

I have 3 or 4 associated tc-3s, a losi xxx-s rtr, a hpi micro rs4, and a losi mini t.

One of my tc3s (used to be my favorite) was just updated to brush less and lipos before I shelved everything. My best guess is that was about 4-5 years ago.

The question is... if I were to get back in, is the tc3 still a capable platform? Or should I consider upgrading? I remember thinking of an X-ray touring car when I quit.

I think I quit because it got to be too competitive. It became a case of "how fast can you afford to go?"
I appreciate your input...

Visit the USVTA thread, read through the rules, and turn those TC3s into VTA cars. Not only will it provide a cheaper re-entry point into RC racing, the TC3 platform is still very competitive at that level.
