Hey all, my motor/esc set up blew magic smoke today and id like some thoughts on the following choices which ive short listed.

If you're not planning on doing any sanctioned event racing I'd advise going with the Hobbywing Xerun combo.
Steer clear of the Reventon, have a look in the Speed Passion thread to read about the issues that are plaguing the Reventon esc's.
I don't have any experience with Novak products so I really can't comment on them.

Novak is good but not the best

I've heard that one of the hobby wings is one of the best

Personally, I have not had a single issue with either of my Reventon Pro's since I got them in October. They're smooth, have great brakes (even in blinky), and don't have a gigantic footprint.
