hi all

Does anyone know if centrepoint here in the uk will be ditching the r3 and

start selling the stinger as i know a few shops were slashing the prices and selling
the r3 for about £150 new in box

be a shame really as the r3 is getting more popular are meetings

but hey thats progress

As far as I am aware, Centre-Point will continue to support the R3. I will be catching up with Richard next week so will pose the question to get the difinitive for you.
Stingers are due in this week though

It would need to be specially ordered as they are only going to bring in the Stinger in Blue (as with the Cuda R3)

Had a rough price told to me but nothing set in concrete. I know the price will be competitive with other kits on the market. Hopefully something official will appear soon

Hopefully, spares and hop ups will be arriving soon....

Blue is a nice colour, not quite in the same league as the Speedway Pal colours though Orange got plenty of bits from the web R2 that will match that...might not fit though

Finally arrived yesterday after it sitting in custom for 4 days!!!

Building a pink one, half done and boy I love the box, and that bag of aluminium bits, is HUGE!!!!

I should have some pictures up soon with the pink one and possibly a blue to do a comparison on look...

I still wonder what it would look like if it is in BLACK!!! anyone ordered one?

Hi Guys,

we just update the final pricing on the Stinger. Looks like it will come in quite a bit lower than originally posted.

We have a few in the shop, and the website should be updated by tomorrow and another shipment will arrive next week

Some info ...

From the basic kit, I changed the following:

- Graphite Suspension Arms
- Graphite Hubs and Front Knuckles
- Low Friction Shock Pistons
- Bearings for Steering Rack
- Purple Alum Spring Holder
- Purple Alum Turnbuckles

The car weights exactly 740 grams, as in the pictures above

Adding bodyshell, 3800 battery, motor, servo, receiver and speedo, that will be another 820 grams approx. So the car will weight about 1.560 kgs, but I can see a lot of things that can be lightened

DHI Racing,

Are the graphite parts from Alex or did you adapt AE parts?
Thanks.
