Default Durable TC=Oxymoron

They are racing cars they are not supposed to be durable; they are supposed to be fast.

The manufactures, distributors and the hobby shops believe you enjoy replacing parts on your car.
In their vision of the RC racing people enjoy

1. Rebuilding their motors every other week.
2. Rebuilding parts of their cars like diffs and shocks and paying $35 for a new set of tires once a month.
3. Spending about an hour screwing with your car for every minute you spend racing it.

There is no money in racing; the money is all in hop-ups, expendables, replacement parts and gadgets.
A 1/10 touring car that could hit the track barriers repeatedly without breaking, which could race every weekend for 3 months and not require any rebuilding and replacement. A car which you could spend more time racing than messing with, would bankrupt the industry.

Like Las Vegas. Your pain is their gain.

Not to be rude but, try not to crash. Slower is always faster in the long run.
