I would say that you would have to be a super clean and consistent driver to notice the difference between the mid and higher grade lipos. Personally, I am not gonna buy anything other than SMCs. Danny is a very honest guy, and doesn't sell the packs for full price if they have a higher IR.

See, my experiences are the exact opposite...The only packs that have ever swelled up on me were all SMC. They were all taken care of exactly as suggested by SMC. So I'm out if theyre the best. Now I have had great luck with Protek packs.

Interesting graphs... Have you tried Fantom, Revtechs or EAM's Batteries??? Would be nice to have a side-by-side comparison. I assume generic packs are like Turnigy/GenAces??

By far, the best lipo packs out there now are the Revtechs 100c.
Lower IR an high voltage then any battery.

A engineer at our track bought over 50 different lipo packs and had them tested.
Its good enough for me..

The Turnigy/Gen Aces packs had a higher IR and the voltage fell off sooner then most packs.
Even the Comp A grade ones..

Exactly, for most average drivers the difference between pack A and pack B of any given C rating and Mha, is negligible. And if you are hitting the degradation point of the pack, you needs to be carrying more Mha, so you never touch it ever.

ill try to make it simple.

SMC & thunder power will produce very similar lap times & run times.

CRC was 6300 & was slightly slower lap times & less run time. on the graph you will see a slight gap between the protoype cell & CRC, on the track that's worth about a tenth of a second.

generic packs are about a tenth slower one the first quarter & about 2 tenth's slower towards the end.

Thanks!

Let us know if/when you test any other batteries.

Out of curiosity, are Revtechs and Fantom the same battery?? Like Protek/Intellect??

No, i understand the graph. I was wondering if the graph/program shown was logview, because i use it personally. My question for you is how do i compare graphs (i.e show simultaneous discharge curves on the same graph) while using logview.
