I have used Corally "Jack The Gripper" on rubber and foam for both asphalt and carpet.
With foams on carpet it is simply awsome!! It lasts the entire 5 minutes, and is consistent the entire time, everytime.
Best of all there isn't any unpleasant odour (okay it doesn't stick at all).
I also tried it at a rubber tire race recently...
The track only allowed Trinity Zip Free, which does smell and does not work that great. I ran both mod and stock classes (same car).
For one of the 4 mod qualifiers, kept my stock motor (monster) in and used Jack instead (shhhhhhh!). There was only half a lap difference in a 5 minute run. The car was hooked up the entire time. With zip free in mod, the car would break loose or be twitchy after the 3 minute mark.
I also ran out asphalt on both rubber and foam and found it to work just as well as 2 or 3 others that I have tried. I can't honestly say it was better, but it was just as good.
But this could have been my setups or particular driving style that day
