We are trying not to leave anything out on this kit. They may even throw in the break room sink if they can fit it in the box!!!! LOL

Sign me up. I want it. That single belt with the spur on the rear diff is killer. Mad rip.................... Corraly did some homework on this.

Great work!

What makes me wonder is that the direct drive configuration will have a limit, in term of the final ratio for modified racing. I usually ran 8x2 or 9x1, with ratio of 8.5 to 9.2.

Since the direct drive won't have a reduction on the belt system, the final drive ratio is only a function of Spur and Pinion (Like Pan Car). If I used a 17 teeth pinion, to achieve 9.2 ratio with my 9x1 motor, I need a 153 teet Spur gear (48 pitch)....

Mann....that's a hugeeee spur gear.... It seems that the car will not be able to accomodate a spur that big, or will it?

Pembalap, You will be O.K. The spurs are designed for this car. It is a special gear that bolts on the rear diff so it can be removed easily and replaced with the gear reduction pulley. Again Corally did their homework to provide a car that is unlike any other.

Corally Assassin, powerd by the "one of a kind" SHAPESHIFTER Transmission! Soon to be on the loose at a track near you!!

Thanks,

No, The spur gear should be able to get you where you need to be. The gear reduction just seems to calm the car down a little bit. There is such a thing as too much rip!!!!

Rob,

It will be shipped with the 48 pitch gears. I believe that they are going to add 64 pitch shortly.

Sorry, I do not remember what the exact size is. I will find out for you though. Since they are very busy getting the new kits ready it may take a while to get the answer. I will post it as soon as I get the correct answer for the production kits. It was of a healthy size if I remember correctly. Everything else in the kit has been looked at many times. This is not something that was overlooked. You will be O.K.
