MikeR: No problem. Theres only one thing that can keep this wonderful hobby from being fun, and thats glitching. So anytime any of use see another way to fight glitching, we have to pass it on. I hope it lets you return your reciever to being mounted where ever you want to on the car.

MikeR: good luck man. The XXL is about as good as it gets. Outside Hitec's Dual Conversion reciever that is. The band spacing is the same as on the Futaba's R113F. And your not going to get much better than that reciever without having one that is Dual Conversion.

MikeR: Which KO Propo servo did you get? I have finally settled on which servo I will get. I'm getting the KO Propo PS2173. It only needs 6.0v to operate at [email protected]/in. Its not digital, but its faster, stronger, and cheaper than most other companies' digital units. Which is kind of pathetic on the other companies' part don't you think.

I'm using the Ko Propo PDS-2123 Digital (9.5Kg/0.06s).
It's a beast but it works on 7,2V.

I'm not sure of the model number but the specs on mine are .08sec at 6volt Hitorque/ speed digitalFET servo. and cost me $120 at the local shop.
Seems like KO has cornered the market lately with good servos.

MikeR: It was probably a PDS-2143FET. You should be able to see it on the top of the servo by the output shaft.

Hi guys! I recently got hold of a C4 (before the AGLE) from a very good swap deal. Is it true that it doesn't steer as good as the other guys and that is why the AGLE was formed? Can the new C4.1 conversion kit be use on the old C4 or i'm stuck w/ the AGLE conversion kit? Any set-up tips? Thanks guys for ur help

blue 3:16: The C4.1 conversion will work with your original C4.

good luck....

blue 3:16: thats right you can jump straight to the C4.1 if you wish. Superior Hobbies is the place to look if your local shop can't special order it for you. It runs about $179.00.

Well it was another nice weekend with the 4.1. Now that I found out about that bent hinge pin, the car is back to handling great. I also tried out the lower rear anti-quat position. The car seemed to have unlimited amounts of traction! Whether I was going through a high speed sweeper on the large track or cutting through a high speed S-turn on the small track. I will definitly be using the .5mm setting for the rest of this year. Even in the very cool weather, traction was no problem.

Well, the results for this weekend were pretty good. TQ'ed and won in the B-main at the short track. Qualified fifth and finished third in the A-main at the large track.

We were lucky to get our racing in. It was on the brink of raining both Sat. night and Sun. morning here. But the weather held off to let us get our racing in. And it was some good racing, too!

Hey guys, thanks a lot for your input. I was given the chance to choose whether to get the original C4 or an AGLE C4 version (w/ additional cost) so I can't make-up my mind. I definitely want a C, no budget yet for a C4.1 conversion kit. Please enlighten me

King-G: Will you be attending the NSW State Titles in Canberra?. I will be there for sure! I have been working towards this meeting for months!

If you are attending the meeting we should meet up, i will also have plenty of spares should any of us HX Corally drivers break anything.

BTW: Are you running a One-Way?? I will be but i have had to build a new one..the main axle or shaft snaped in two at club meeting last sunday, i was amazed when it happend. The c4.1 with a One Way will be awsome on the Canberra track.
