I saw that Chris Grainger (GB) - Yokomo BD/Checkpoint/Novak, is running for Checkpoint. As I'm from Europe I'm under the same 12T limit.
Is it possible to know what wind, which timing, gear ratio, springs and brushes did he use during the Euro's champ???

Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris, how would you like to join Team UK-RC??? You get lots of free things such as free body clips (colour of your choice ) and a personalised transmitter atena with your very own "Chris Grainger" 20x6" flag mounted on the end.

Last question to Chris:
What is the difference between infinity and express brushes?
Which one are the best for the race??? Actually, which one did you use at the Euro??

Thanks a lot

Sleighty, Thanks for the kind words see you at Barham.

Pheyhoe, Like the idea of the body clips! not sure on the Flag!

Hugo, No problem, I used infinty brushes, they are the std brushes. They give lots of power and life. I have not tested the express, they may have more power but less life?

Hey how is everything going Chris? I heard you had some good power at the Euro's.

I know that Duane and Steve are shipping about 300-500 motors a week. I will let everyone know where they shipped the last batch.

Josh still trying to get the roll out from Duane. He is busy getting ready for the off-road worlds. He leaves tomorrow.

Hey Daryl

Power was not a problem! and I had to use old cells as my fresh stuff for the Euros was stuck in costoms!! Still we had one of the fastest cars at the meeting. Ran the 3rd fastest time in practice, and the 3rd fastest of the mains.

Josh still tied to the Ballancing machine?!

Maybe see you in Vagas?

Not sure what Josh is doing now. You should come early and we will chill before the race. Talk to you later.

I know it's the wrong part of the season, but has anyone run these in a 12th scale car yet? Any tips or ideas?

I am trying to decide mod or wait for stock motors to run this winter. Maybe a 19t?

Chris,

I'd imagine you will be running a 7 turn next weekend, have you an idea of what ratio you will start at?

Dan, Where is the National next weekend ?

Re brushes etc. I am now on run 14 with the 7 x 1 and I've lost about 1/4 of the original brush length but no drop in performance. Skim every 5 runs.

I tried using the Checkpoint bell on another manufacturers can and arm and found that the brushes wore quicker. Can anybody explain this. Six runs and they were down to half their size.
