Storing Batteries

The carpet season is over for me and i am wondering how i should store my GP3300's?

I heard to just put alittle charge in them and every 2 weeks cycle them?

Deadshort? (I have never done this, and i heard it really doesnt help, i may be wrong)

I am really not going to use my packs for almost a month or 2.

Sell them and get 3700s when you return to racing.:D

i heard dead shorting your packs increase your volts but shortens your run time! ? ? ?

I believe you're right... Dead shorting does increase volts but dead shorting for a long period of time is generally not good for your batts...:) I read from the Pro-match site that they do not recommend dead shorting...

alot of batt companies dont suggest to.

Check out the SMC thread http://rctech.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?forumid=45
Accoriding to them you can store batteries for up to 5 or 6 months before the performance deteriorates.

personally i would store them at full charge and cycle them before running again.

I went ahead and just did 2000mAh and then put them away. And then ill just cycle them when i want to use them

what do you do after 2 months of storage the batts and will be racing the next week?
