Default SMC/IB3800

IB will release the 3800 in April. This cell was designed to fit the maximum size for IFMAR and ROAR rules. It's a 43x23 mm cell just like the GP3700. The extra diameter has allowed IB to improve the capacity over the 3600 while keeping the high voltage and low IR. This cell is 66-67 grams compared to the 61-62 gr of the 3600.

Minimum capacity 3750mAh. Typical 3950mAh on CE-TM4.

We will be matching this new cell at 35amps.

IB3806 6 cell matched Race pack 110.00 retail.

IB3806E 6 cell Economy matched pack 70.00 retail.

IB3804 4 cell matched Race pack 74.00 retail.

3800MSP Matched Stick pack 65.00 retail.

3800SP Stick pack 55.00 retail.

We plan on shipping these out to our distributors by the 3rd week of April.

With the newer 3600,3700 and now 3800 it should be easier than ever to make runtime in mod but based on what see at the major races no matter what kind of runtime a cell has it seems like racers eventually find a way to use it all.

Dave: Until we get our first big batch of production cells I can't really be sure what the numbers will be.

Based on the samples we have seen so far the runtime should 385-415 with voltage of 1.165+. IR of 1.9-2.2

If all goes well you should see them in Japan by the end of April.

Intellect cells are great. Loads of punch. SMC has the advantage.

The IB3800 are finally going to be released after some more hard work by IB to make sure the cells is as good as possible. We got a few 100 cells to play with a week or so ago and they looked real promising. We hope to have them shipping out to distributors by the second week of May.

Based on the cells we tested we hope to be able to provide our top end cells with the following specs at 35 amps. 390+ , 1.17+ , 1.8-2.2IR.
