i did a quick review (on french sorry) with the 200mm extension kit for rcf1.fr
http://rcf1.fr/index.php/les-chassis...sh04-kit-200mm

Note that with the notice setup, the ride height is around 4mm with 3mm shims under and above the front upright.

It's time for indoor season again, how has everybody been doing with your Flash04s?

If I'm not mistaken, a running change was made to the turnbuckles, so they should be better now.

Good news but i saw on your shop that they are still in aluminum

http://vbcracingshop.com/shop/vbc-ra...turnbuckles-2/

i had the same problem on the 180mm and with the 200mm kit, for me it's the only major issue. the rest is almost perfect so far.

Yes, they are still 4mm 7075 aluminum. These are the same turnbuckles used on the other VBC cars. It seems the F1 cars are more susceptible to damaging the turnbuckles than the other cars.

I will look into carrying alternative (Optional) turnbuckles for you guys.

Picked up a Flash from LHS on saturday. Started the build last night. Are there any changes that were made in a last few months? I would say the kit was the shelf for a few months. I just want to know if i'm going to need some stuff to make sure it's up to par with the brand new kits.. Beside the turnbuckles..

Thanks
Jerry

if it is not a spec tire race.... the Pit 0571 and 0572 seems to work well at our track... those are mounted on the Tamiya foam wheel...

Do you guys cut down the link between the servo and steering rack? it's a little long so it wont center. Or do you just just off set the servo arm?
