Had fun today! Speed Passion f1 car is capable of even more speed, really impressed how it went straight stock. If anyone saw me go full throttle through the pits and or you were the car sitting there in the pit lane when I flashed on past ..sorry, that must have been close cuz the pitlane was very narrow, it was caused by my reaction to a pile up in the chicane.

Thanks to everyone that came out for the race yesterday and to Pat and Cathy for hosting the event at Hobby Stop West.
My SpeedPassion car was also working pretty well, a little fragile though.
I have finally sat down and sorted out the points, I have broken them down by event as well and done the calculations with 2 drops seeing as how we are at the half way point of the season

Races and pit stops went smooth. I don't think anybody skipped a pit stop, but at only a (1) lap penalty it was tempting to never stop. Thanks again for coming to Toledo with UF1. I'm kind of surprised I got 4th not the quickest but I felt I was consistent throughout the day

The track layout will be new with no local practice prior to the event.

Saturday and Sunday will be two separate events. Doors open at about 8am each day.

Both days will be open practice until around 11-11:30. Current plan is F-1 qualifying between 12-12:30 with support class qualifying starting at 1:00.

F-1 mains will more than likely occur between qualifying rounds 1/2,2/3, with the final following the supporting class mains.

This follows our normal club schedule other than the addition of the UF1 program.

Any other questions, please ask.

Skip
