Stinks and sorry to hear. You gotta be crazy careful with this sucker on 3S. The power is just ballistic. I think it's most fun on 2S when slightly damp on asphalt with the stock tires. It's just a controllable drift monster. Love this little car.

Haha. Yeah, I agree. There is something about this car that is pretty addicting. Call it Soule. Lol

Well, I ordered all of the HPI upgrades, so I'll report back soon!

Does anyone know which castle creation's rotor is a good substitute for the flux rotor? Snapped mine playing in the park.

Same here but I'll take any options I can get.

Questions??

Hi! Does anyone know when the new 2014 WR8 will be available in the US (#114183) ? I've seen it in European online stores. Is the body and rims the only thing that changes ? Thanks

So, I know I'm "new" and all, and I think the moderators are supposed to approve posts, but did anyone see my question I posted days ago here?

Excellent! It worked:

Ok, so, I was wondering. ---- I see that someone has a castle 3800kv set up going on with an MMP ESC, are there any other "must have" upgrades to be making to this car if running on 3s?

I've already purchased a Futaba 4PLS and a DS1313 Servo.

I'd also go with a faster servo, upgraded servo saver, and the HD drive cups.

On 3s you will notice the stock drive cups will wear out rather quickly along with the dogbone pins. I ran the HD cups last season and I didn't even notice any wear on them. Definitely recommend them!

Also I'm selling a brand new built WR8 with lots of upgrades. If anyone is interested shoot me a reply or a message. The build/for sale thread is located here- ARR HPI WR8 Flux w/hop ups and lots of spares. Have a lookey-

The price is negotiable 8-)

Hahah yeah I guess but I'm sure everyone will be fine. If I sell it I'll still be hanging around the WR8 areas ;-) Seeing what develops with the chassis and whatnot.
