How do you convert a nitro car to electric?

Depends on the car... you will need to find a suitable motor for it and may have to do some drilling to get it to work. What size is it and what car?

Take your radio equipment out of the Nitro car and install into an Electric car.

Or... If you happen to own a somewhat popular Nitro car, like an 1/8 scale Buggy/Truggy, purchase a conversion kit that replaces the Nitro motor and clutch with an Electric motor and speed control, along with Battery mounts.

its 1/10 scale and it is a serpent 705, they don't have any conversions for it that is why i asked the public.

Well in that case... if it was me, I would trade it for an electric. lol... Like I say, you will need to take out all the nitro stuff and find a way to squeeze in the electronics. It isn't simple and will be a pain. You are better off since it's 1/10th scale to simply trade it or buy an electric.

Haven't seen any On-Road conversion kits for Nitro-to-Electric yet. Don't know if there would be a need to be quite honest. The Nitro cars are so much heavier, and with the limited space, you might as well buy an Electric On-Road car as the base car. You can pick up some very solid Xray 007/008's for under $200.00.

I have been a diehard electric guy but did convert one of my mbx6t's to nitro this year. I wanted to see if I could do it and also wanted to be able to run in the long mains. I had a huge race that I went to a couple weeks ago and finshed 10th in the amain my first time out. It is also more dependable than
