Damit Forgot to add my number and name on the rear window like rally cars have. They are internal decals, so I need to pull out my LED's and interior to get them in there....

Maybe you should paint your 1:1 in rally livery instead That'll get you some looks on the street.

Even without your name and number, that's a sweet looking paint job man! I really need to get my painting skillz up to par.

I thought about repainting the car, but the black-on-white grew on me and I'd be sad to see it go. Plus, the spoiler is already a cop magnet

Quick question about shells. I have a friend who is after an xv01 for a bit of street bashing and also some local club racing. Will a std racing shell like a Mazda speed 6 fit on the car over the front motor assembly?

Cheers

Height wise it should be OK. You might have an issue with the bumper and probably need to cut the bumper back a bit.

cool, I'd like to be sure before I recommend him to get one, so if anyone has the XV01 and a TC shell it would be appreciated.

For 1/10 touring it has to be one of a few shells such as the Protoform Mazda 6 etc. So I was trying to see if it would work well on that.

Well, you asked about "street bashing"... I wouldn't really run a racing body out in the street, unless you enjoy painting new bodies Also, the street settings for the XV would differ from club racing, I would assume. I don't think 5mm ride height in the street is a good idea.

Yep, Street bashing and local club racing.

5mm height is std for carpet racing, and the XV01 can run std 417 suspension parts so it should be fine on the track for a club racer. However, he will need to run an Aero shell in the class, so I am just checking, otherwise he will look at a different car.
