Default TR-12

I had the chance to run the body this past week end and I was very impressed. The body felt more stable at high speed and after I lowered the rear to about 3.00 inches if you take that measurement on the side in the rear, it felt very good and balanced. Definitely a good mod body and I would not be surprised to see it do very well in 13.5 and maybe even in 17.5 !

Hey Dale...the description on the website mentions it is coming with headlight stickers to meet ROAR specs...will there be headlight stickers made for the previous models as well like the AMR?

So how did this body do at the Birds. It looked like a lot of guys were still using the AMR.

My 2 Bodies will be in my LHS in the next couple of days

Regards Robert

I think this is a high downforce body for low grip club racing and asphalt. There was too much grip to use it at the birds.

I race on a med grip carpet track and on asphalt so it will be a perfect option for me.

Eric says remember it will take a little while for old stock to sell before the older bodies appear with stickers.

Yep, decals have been created for the AMR and are in circulation, but it might take a bit for LHS's to sell the old stock (w/o headlights) first before the new ones appear.

Many drivers tried out the TR-12 but like Adrian said, we've found that it's more suited to low-grip tracks. This is what P.Lemieux just posted on our facebook page:
For the super high traction of the snowbirds the TR12 had almost too much grip. Once the drivers get a chance to tune more on that high traction I think you will see it being run. Otherwise for low to Med bite carpet or any asphalt it is already the best choice I think.
So it was a combination of track conditions and not quite enough testing time beforehand that our team chose to stick with the AMR for the Birds.

Eric, can we call Protoform direct to order the decals for the AMR bodies that came without them?
