Ideas for a quick change battery system

Racing a a 500 lap enduro race for Touring cars on a track that you can run 18 laps in 5min. Using 5000 ma batteries I can run 10-11 min with a silver can. Our team is consedering racing a 21.5 motor geared 400. There are no defined motor rules there are going to be Nitro cars running. My teams concern is the battery changes we can run twice as far as the nitro cars can. But we don't want to loose several laps in the pits to nitro cars changing batteries
Do you have any suggestions for a quick change battery system or stategy to make this a fair fight.
We are running a xray t2 07

Years ago, Bolink had a pan car chassis with a quick change set-up.

It used a chassis with a cut out the size of the battery pack and a spring loaded lever that dropped the battery out the bottom. You just slapped the new battery in place of the old one.

There were battery cups mounted up side down on top of the chassis, to hold the battery in place.

The battery connection consisted of spring loaded contacts in the cups.

You may try looking in the oval forum and ask about enduro set-ups.

Good Luck!!!

Check out reflex racing .com he has some battery holders that r really nice . Its a tab mounted on a post that overlaps the battery on each end. U mount one end securely and the other end u set up so when u turn the screw 1/4 turn it allows the battery to be removed easily works great for me
