Just thought I should give a race report from a team driver.
Today was my first race with the Stallion, which was raced in stock on carpet at Horsham RC. All I can say is wow
. When building the car, I just used general knowledge in setting up a carpet car. This was definitely the easiest car I have ever built.
The setup I put on it stayed the entire day of racing. The Stallion scrubs absolutely no speed in the turns and is super smooth. I TQ'd with a 24 5:06 (about 5 seconds faster than I went in previous weeks with a RDX).
The majority of T2, RDX, and Cyclone owners were hanging around my pit the entire day. For the duration of the day, all I heard was "this is an asphalt car, its no good on carpet" and things of that nature. I proved them all wrong by TQ'ing and winning the A main.
Next week I will shake down the car in 19turn and give a report on my findings. Glad to be part of the team!

Kawada spurs fits perfectly without modification, many others need some trimming of the screw holes.
The maximum tooth count if you haven't filed the chassie is around 107-108,
114'ish is the maximum before the spur protrudes below the lower deck when the slot is filed..
