Default Switching from Brushed to Brushless - Have a few questions

Hey Guys,

I am moving from a 27T brushed setup to 17.5T Brushless.

So my question is: Is the brushless going to have a lot more torque and therefore I should gear accordingly?

Thanks,
Karim

The 17.5 will rev less with greater torque - so yes, you will need to gear up a fair amount. Ask at the track for a recommendation. Power and performance is similar between the two in "blinky" mode.

That explains a lot...... The first run I did with the brushless setup in my TC made me think "Wow, Brushless is really overrated" ... lol. Do you know of any really good articles on brushless motors/escs for people who are making the pilgrimage from the land of brushes?
