Of course you have to use track tires if your going thru tech.
After all quals and after racing for that 1 hour of open practice you can use whatever.
I would think you would want to use tires from the same batch.

Default Schedule

Hi All,
Ok here is the tentative schedule as we know it.

Wed - Pit setup 3-9pm. Tech will be open when Roar officals show up. This should be between 6-7. Tech will close around 9pm.

Thursday - Doors open at 7am. Open practice starts at 8am is set to last for 1.5 hours using short practice runs with 10 people on the track. Think a couple minutes at a time.

Tech will also be open during this time.

First controlled practice round is set to start at 10am. You will have to have your car in race trim at this time. It will go through full tech. Motor, Battery, Body, Weight, voltage, all the goodness must pass tech or you wont be allowed to run the timed practice run.

2 full practice rounds will run. This should end around 7pm. Whenever the last controlled practice heat ends. We will have 1 hour of open practice. Then the doors will close shortly after that.

Friday - Doors open at 7:30am. Not sure how practice or racing will go but expect a similar schedule to Thursday. Again with 1 hour of open practice after racing.

Saturday - Doors open at 7:30 and should be similar to Fridays schedule.

Sunday - Doors open at 7:30 and the schedule for the mains will be determined as well as any possible open practice before racing.

Remember cars must be completely legal before hitting the track for the first controlled practice round so get everything teched before.

This is about all we got right now. The schedule always has the possibility of changing but for now we'll try and stick to the schedule above.

It's getting close, I'm not attending to race but you better believe I will be attending as a spectator on Sunday for those mains, they're going to most likely be the best racing I've seen other than on YouTube and ill have my video camera and recording every main

Great final club race before the Nats today.

Thanks to everyone that hung out and helped us do stuff.

12 hour day tomorrow putting the track together and doing the final setup for the race.

This is going to be a good time. Make sure your put some sauce on your roof. You may need it.

I would say mid-60s, but may warm up with 110 people in the building, so be prepared to strip down a bit too. (Don't get too excited Mike!)
