This is the way I view it as well as some people at ROAR. But those people had to talk to their other people to come up with a decision of the rule. Still waiting on that

Not sure what you are saying.....

ONLY AT A NATIONAL EVENT....

1. So do you feel a Mod National Champ should be allowed to run a 17.5 class, if they have not won or placed 2nd in the past 5 years (Paully, Ralph, etc...)?

2. So do you feel that a 13.5 National Camp should be allowed to run a 17.5 class, if they have not won or placed 2nd in the past 5 years?

Looks to me like rule technicalities are of importance within this debate.

13.5 is not a core class, it is an option... 17.5 and Mod are core....

12.2.8 Any driver who finishes in the top 20% (rounded up) of any Modified National will be barred from entering any Stock National class for the next year.

Good point. Seems to me that ROAR is the center of many controversial topics as of late.

So if your local track only races 17.5 you are not allowed to race the class your race 99% of the year. That does not make much sence.

It only applies to the national events... not a rule for local tracks....

Well for some non-rule issue news...

Looks like the event is full - saw a few names moved to the wait list

I see a new t shirt slogan for this race:

"I went to horsham, and all I got was this lousy t shirt that said I'm too good for stock"

First person on line to buy one.
