Tamiya TA05 Touring Sedan
Tamiya published a few pictures from the Japanese mags on the Tamiya Japan page today that's supposed to show the next TRF belt car.
Can someone please scan the pages from RC World and RC Magazine so we get some bigger pics of the new TRF chassis?

yeah, appears it has a tub chassis...plastic shocks and stuff like that
it will be a mid range car i think, i don't think the 415 will be replaced anytime soon.

Did u ever see any TRF line using Tamiya connector with stick battery??? NEVER! It must be a mid-range TA/TB line car...
But I won't be surprise if there is TRF416 or EVO5 in the work. They always in developing cycle.
edit:
After some detail check, I think this is a 415-based, belt drive TA-line. Might be the rumor 415-based TA-05.

I think if you look closely you can see the front and rear black drive belts. It also looks like the gearboxes are a 2 piece design with an upper cover like an 04 has, so maintainence should be easier than on a 415. Man, I just hope most my my 415 stuff fits on this thing so I don't need to buy seperate aluminum bellcranks or motor mount

I just hope the new car can fit the newer cells without the major struggle that the 04 has....

I gotta agree here. They only just released the TRF415MS which is the worlds winning car, they will do some development on that first, then replace when the competition catches up.
Also, if that is TRF 416 then they must have blown all their budget on designing and building the car if they had to use a stick pack, plastic shocks and a tamiya connector to test it with!

It's clearly stated that it's a prototype car nothing here is written in stone yet maybe their just testing different things out with different parts etc etc
