I was using a 4.5 FDR at Trackside for the TCS. It felt fine and the motor didn't get hot.

I will have to try to drop it lower if I'm getting killed on the straight at the Hurricane Final. Are you going to that race on April 19th? I figured it would be a nice way to end the indoor season

I'd like to go but my part-time jobs keep getting in the way. I'm lucky enough to make the Trans-Am race on the 12th.

Actually a 4.7 FDR should be fine with good punch.

I know how the part-time job thing feels...but I requested off at Menards a month or so in advance for this one.

4.7 FDR does give really good punch, and the guys running lower FDR's than that only catch me right at the beginning of the sweeper anyway.

At least a 1/4 inch. Follow the instructions in the manual and you should be just fine. A little loose is better than a little tight. Hope that helps.

Speedtech also takes PayPal. Just picked up a used TA05. Looks like a pretty good chassis. Anyone running front and rear diffs? This one came with a front one-way, I've never been able to get a car with a front one-way to work as good as f/r diff car.

Try running front and rear balls with a center one-way. That's a nice combo.

Run a spool up front and ball diff in the rear...dont mess with the center one way.
