The reciever is taped to the top of servo. With the wires on top it makes for a fairly small flat space. There's not top deck on the tub chassis. The only open flat space on the chassis on the bottom of the lower deck, between the Servo and the motor? Not sure this would be a good spot, can forsee issues with time tracking.

I run the esc behind the motor, the receiver behind the servo (using Spektrum Pro) and the transponder and ESC switch mount on top of the servo.

Hi
I have broken my original wheel axle that come from box and 3 racing universal shafts axles. What brands of wheel axles can fit to ta05 ? I search only for axles beause i think i must use 48 mm joints for 3racing chassis. 42 mm does not work with it.

Well i am searching this kind of stuff for my ta05.
http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=22393

Any idea or experiences?

Thx

46mm shafts are what you want, spend the money and get the genuine Tamiya universals, the 3 racing ones are rubbish, very brittle outdrives and the cross joint pins are extremely thin and wear out prematurely.

The Evo5 bumper (#51088); better protection for the front-end

both cars are good for that kind of track if you have some extra dough i'll go for the MSX i'm not saying that the TA-05R is not as good as the MSX but for me the MSX handles a little bit better than my TA-05

I own both cars and imo if you have a few extra dollars I would recommend the MSX over the TA05R simply because the MSX has a more attention to the details in the assembly process, especially if your not experienced in looking for details in placement of shims and spacers, which are included in the MSX kit. I think out of the box the MSX will have more longevity than the TA05R, plus there are less hop-ups to purchase. The TA05R is almost perfect for TCS GT3 & GT2 competition where as the MSX is set to do battle in anything from TCS GT1 to club level and up!
