I noticed that the ta05 kit wheels are +2 offset, so I went and bought some of those fancy ,expensive Tamiya wheel spacers. Now I notice that the hub is getting about 2.5 3mm in the wheel. Is this gonna be a problem??

On a side note, I was able to get alot of practice with my TA05 yesterday and was able to keep up with my friends RDX. he was pretty shocked when I took the lead coming out of a chicane. I love this car!!--Al

Maybe If I get a shelf queen car, I should make a half half paint job, like half is painted, half is clear.

I used a pair of servo mounts and mounted the stock motor guard on the chassis. If you want, will post pics later for you.

Did the same for the Xenon.. here's a blurry pic, but you can see the plastic servo posts (switched to the carbon ones afterwards ) held down by CS screws and 3mm locknuts (or just some aluminum ball ends if you can't find any)

How limited are the LE items? I've seen a few on ebay. Probably not worth anything until 5 years from now when the TA09 is running.

I am thinking about picking up a tamiya ta05. I have a FT TC4 right now. I want something that I can race with and just play with. Which kit do I need to get? It seems to be a lot of different ones.

Bigair78, all the ta05 kits are essentially the same, just the body is different. You're gonna like the performance!!--Al
