can someone recommend hopups to run a 14 or 12T motor? I'm either gonna go with the quantum reverse 2 pro (12T) $120, or the novak xrs reversible (14T) $50..depending on how much upgrades are to run these kinds of motors.

Why would you want reverse with them motors, it will only damage the brushes.

because I want to play around with it..this isnt for racing; this is a research test bed/new toy to play around with.

cant i get a motor with mounted brushes like an a/c motor- so reverse wont screw them up?

Hebiki:

Hi,

I'm thinking bout a shaft sedan for indoor carpet this year for my son to run. (He's WAY faster than I ever was,and will be). we've been running XRay cars since the 04 came out.
The EVO 5 just looks awesome. aand now I just saw a pic of the new 415 R.E. and it looks way better than the current 415. I might have to make the switch to Tamiya.
I see Steve has the Tamiya motor bulkhead listed but not in stock. I could just place a order and wait as I'm playing in the dirt until mid August. are you going to the IIC ???

Thanks

I have bought from RC Mart before, it`s OK if you don't mind the wait and you buy enough to cover the shipping . I go on E-bay quite a bit for parts.

Hi Guys,

Just want to post a quick note on a couple of new TA05 items in stock:

TA05 Aluminum Finned Motor Mount

TA05 Aluminum diff outdrives w/blades

Also, just finished running the Tamiya TCS regional this past weekend and was able to put the TA05 in the top ten in GT-1 class (the only TA05 in the top 10 against EVO IV, V, and 415s ) I'm finishing up a report for the weekend, and hope to have it as an article on our website (TCS GT-1 Edition)

There not really hop ups there just little nicks and nacks to brighten up the car with tamiya blue. I think im gonna leave the nemisis body. and paint the nsx in the color i want. the dish wheels because i just love the look of em. the ball connectors for accent and the stickers for racing. IM gonna leave the spring set and buy new shocks. The aramid belt cause its better. ANd the one way cause it helps racing.
