MikeR.. Do you happen to have the part # for the alum. dog bones. Couldn't find them on tamiyausa? I thought the hcca bearings were approx 2-3 grams lighter per bearing?? Which leads me to think that a 28 gram (approx.) weight savings could be achieved, not to mention the rotational weight savings. Thanks--Al

Hey Tamiyamanuk, Your car looks pretty much stock, do you have any performance issues with it being heavy??

No, but a little red mixed in DOES help.
(Surikarn susp blocks)
Finished 5th in the Seattle GT1 TCS. The other one, my son broke a rear outdrive on the first lap. I think all the rest were those fancy carbon fiber cars.

Al, sorry, meant cvd bones like these http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...id=459&id=5737

I don't see how you'll lose that much weight with ceramics since the biggest stock bearing weighs only 1.9 grams on my digital scale. The smaller axle bearings weigh half of that.

Thanks Max,

Pretty interesting. About the fr. block (1X and 1XD) so it's 2 deg. Am I correct ?
What's the different between 1XD and 1D ?
You don't put any spacer below those blocks to make anti-squat, anti-dive ?
How about the caster angle on C-hub of lw suspension ? Is it 2 degree ?

Arms are lw. but you use 46mm, is it okay ? No rubs the alum ring ?

Thanks for the setting, I might try.
I'm after a setting for long straight with big sweeper then C curve - short straight - chicane - medium straight - S curve - back to long straight.

any1 have an idea on how much gear i'd have to drop off goin from a silver can (GT3) to a sport tuned black can?

right now i'm runnin 43/104 (5.4x:1), i know i can go 44 w/o issue, but i have silver can now w/a lil more rpm. i know paulie (slot) used 46/106 (5.1x:1 or so).

but i wanna run the black can in wkly stock races, see where its at and to save $$ i cant afford on keepin monsters/cobalts purrin' nicely. thx

love this car, although 75g off the car would be nice.

I have a sport tuned motor that is only as good as my fast 4 hole silver so try to gear it like a fast 4 hole to start with.
