Theres no doubt that they will, the only question is when.

And now, with the apparent problems with some peoples carbon chassis, there might be a debate about whether the "R" version should come with the carbon tub or graphite plate.

Just browsing through all of this thread and found something interesting...
Found it on page 10

Just look at the picture....

What part is it ? Is it option ?
Any effect putting this part ....

I see that we can also attach this part from the center to the front bulkhead...

Any comment ?

Thx

Interesting.... never see such turnbuckle in a chassis for reducing flex.
But the turnbuckle itself is too long.. Maybe they take it from the buggy ?

Ohh yeah... nice turnbuckles...

Fred may I see you electronic layout on the chassis. My receiver seems too big to fit on the chassis, unless I put it on top of the servo. Sanwa RX-311.

Thx for the pics.

The TA04 used to have that up front but i decided to take it out because my car seemed to have wandered at times (maybe there was a bind beacuse of those rods) . So what is the purpose of that C_O jones? seems interesting.

Does this mean some of the newly released carbon tub chassis's are not flat?

Dude, the RX 311 receiver will fit, I run them with my M11 transmitter and mine fits just behind the servo. I will admit its a pretty tight fit, there's not much room on either side but it does fit. You may have to pull the spur cover off to get it in as the antenna mount gets in the way abit.

Thanks Jack2, you're right it's really tight side to side... I can manage it but just affraid if someone bump me on the side, my rcvr box will crack....

Thx for the info, I plan to change with FUT 9550 servo since it's shorter than std. Hope I have more space for the rcvr.

Also, I see there are not many option for spur... before it comes out of the bottom spur hole on the lower deck... What the max. spur for either 48P or 64P ?

I wouldn't worry about it cracking, I have taken some decent hits and mine hasn't been damaged at all. (thats hits in Modified I might add)

As to max spur sizes, 105t in 64dp is about as big as you want to go, and 78 in 48dp is about as big as you want to go.

The S9550 servo's are great, I run them in my MSX, but you don't need one in the TA05 for the RX to fit, mine has a standard size servo and everything fits great.
