blakeyz - What type tires are you running foam or rubber?

Tech Rookie
Hi there.
The tyres that I am running are the LRP v-tech 24 slicks and T27 carpet tyres as well. But I use the same setup for both.

Hi
Just one question. Is the standard spur gear holder on the 05 alloy or plastic, as i may want to use it on a project I'm working on
Thanks

I hate to mod mine right out the package, but the LiPo's gotta go in there.
Hopefully, since I'll have the chassis alone in my hand, instead of the whole car, doing the work on the battery area will be a bit easier. But I think knowing exactly what I need to do now will make it go very fast. Should only take me about 10 minutes or so.

just got this message from tamiya usa:
Dear Tamiya Customer,
I apologize for the delay, we had to verify the motor legality with ROAR,
the Trinity CO27 is TCS legal, and yes, trimming the battery post of the
TA05 is OK for all GT classes.

I remember you guys talking about it several pages back and I think Steve even made some comments to this--Do we have a good guess as to when a loaded R version with the goodies may be availible? Thanks fellas

I wish the blue belts had become availible at the same time as the rest of the stuff. That way I would have only had to take the car apart once.
I still trying to figure out why it takes 6-7 hours to build a kit, but it only took an hour for me to completely disassemble it.
I didn't really realise how much stuff was being replaced by the carbon fiber compents until I took apart everything.
But hopefully, these parts will put to rest the complaints people have about the car being to hefty. It should be nice and trim after these parts.
Lets just hope that it still handles as well. <fingers crossed>
