Exclamation Sales promo!!!!!!

Well it looks like they got you! Tamiya knows how to generate interest in the latest greatest!
They will put out just enough to get you all worked up, shows up at a race here, a sneek peek at a hobby show or magazine article there and then before you know it , racers are all fired up about a part or a new design and just when you think you couldn't stand waiting anymore they announce a release date.

It's a sure fire sales promotion and costing Tamiya practically nothing, "Word of mouth!"

hey guys,
i am currently contemplating whether to fully mod the 05 including cf chassis and blue bulkhead and such

OR

get the 415 msx refine 2.

please help, part of me want to prove the 05 is capable of stunning performance ,but on the other hand it will be cheaper to just buy the refine2

any link to TN RACING site?

if you don't care about appearance and just care about performance. as you said, 05 is capable of stunning performance. I run it without the cf conversion for the moment, and it's already stunning. just throw oneways, trf shocks, and stabilizers. voila! you're ready to go.

The thing is that you don't need a graphite conversion chassis to make the car handle excellent. Check out the thread, there have been quite a few people who have run the car stock...plastic shocks and all...and still done incredibly well.

But then that feeling kicks in that says, 'wow if its this good now, what if it had a stiffer chassis, one way, TRF shocks, etc...'

That stuff is cool and all, but what I like about the car is that I haven't seen any must have upgrades. Of course you want tuning options like sway bars...springs...etc, but you'll buying those for any car, so you might as well start with a car thats $250 cheaper.

Nope... It's on the 3Racing site, as well as their slew of other blue goodies that they apparently plan to release soon:
